“Can I take your photo?” I asked her in Nepali.

“Can I take your photo?” I asked her in Nepali.

“Who are you!?” this little girl replied

“You look Indian.
You speak Nepali.
But you sound American.
Who are you?”

She was sitting there patiently as she waited for her mother to fill up buckets and other household instruments with water at a neighborhood natural water foundation.

“Can I take your photo?” I asked her in Nepali.
